Holiday Train Show
USA (New York)
23 Nov 2008 - 11 Jan 2009
The Holiday Train Show is an annual winter fantasyland of lights and model trains, recreating Old New York at the New York Botanical Garden.
Stretching beneath a 30-foot evergreen in the lovely Enid A Haupt Conservatory, miniature trains at New York Botanical Garden's Holiday Train Show travel past stunningly-recreated replicas of New York City landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, all cunningly made from plant parts and other natural materials. Leaves, twigs, berries and other botanical materials are transformed into dazzling reproductions of the buildings we all know and love.
For more information on the Holiday Train Show, please visit the New York Botanical Garden website.
